Fears, Phobias, and PTSD

Whether it’s a fear of flying (also known as flight anxiety, aviophobia, or aerophobia), public speaking, snakes, bugs, heights, needles, or anything else, hypnotherapy helps dial down irrational fears to a level that is healthy and sustainable.

Similarly, hypnotherapy is effective at mitigating symptoms of PTSD. This is especially true when working in tandem with a psychotherapist and/or psychiatrist. PTSD nightmares are a particularly disturbing side-effect of PTSD, and can have a detrimental effect on sleep, mood, and physical health. Hypnotherapy helps re-train the parasympathetic nervous system to function more normally again, allowing for more rest and less sleep disturbances.
